My experience at Country B&B Corniola in Empoli was nothing short of enchanting. The beautifully restored villa, still managed by the family, offered a glimpse into a bygone era with its rich history of glasswork factories in Empoli. The spacious rooms, complete with antique furniture, overlooked landscaped gardens and the city below.The warm hospitality of Maria Giulia, the host, added a personal touch to my stay. Her insights on local dining spots and thoughtful recommendations made me feel truly at home. The room, overlooking the gardens and city, was comfortably furnished and the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot summer days. The location, within easy reach of Pisa and Florence by train, made it a convenient base for exploring Tuscany.The attention to detail in the tastefully renovated villa was evident throughout, from the functional room with a view of the garden to the spacious bathroom with a relaxing bathtub. The shared balcony provided a perfect spot to unwind and admire the surroundings. The buffet and à la carte breakfast options offered a delightful start to each day, featuring a mix of Italian delicacies.The availability of laundry services and car hire added to the convenience of the stay, allowing for seamless exploration of the charming town of Empoli and its beautiful surroundings. The proximity to Florence Airport made traveling to and from the B&B a breeze.
